Light My Fire page 01
I don’t even wanna talk about how late this page is… forgive me, friends! I decided to change the beginning of this chapter, so I could basically pair down 4-5 pages into 2, so we can get into the action faster and back to our favorite boy. It just still ended up taking a while to get done, considering I crammed 3 different establishing shots onto one page. I’n not sure how well it worked, but webcomics are all about experimentation, eh? Looks a little muddy to me, but I’m not too down on it.

as usual, great art. you really went all out on the backgrounds and it shows, they’re beautiful.
just two minor gripes: ed’s pose in panel 3 looks a little off. i think it stems from his right foot being forward, which is telling my brain his body should be turned slightly to his left, but it’s actually still square. yet if you moved the foot back he would be facing away from the person he’s talking with.
i think considering that they’ve obv. been talking for a few seconds ed should be facing the woman in a more square-on fashion, oriented towards the viewer’s right not the viewer’s left. that’s just, like, my opinion though.
apart from that it’s great. the page is incredibly detailed and full of life, and that’s better than the motionless, soulless crap that some artists put out.

Glad you like the BGs, I was worried the inks were getting a bit muddy. I’ve been picking at this page for a week, haha.
