Hey friends,

(this keeps getting more awkward the longer I put it off, so let’s just get toit)

I feel like I should explain myself, but maybe I don’t have to, we’ve all been experiencing the same bullshit (along with our own personal BS) throughout 2020.  I intended to just take the summer off, but the days just kept snowballing into each other.  Especially with my day job, through the whole year it just kept getting more and more stressful, until the retail climax of Christmas.  So now that we’re in the quiet part of the year, I have time to relax and focus on my baby again!

Fritz Fargo is coming back, I’ve been writing for months and finally moving to the drawing stage.  I plan to do two big updates in February (to finish off chapter 13) and then move back to doing semi regular updates, at least three pages a month.

I’ll start posting on here more to show what I’m doing. Time management eludes me, and honestly I’ve struggled a lot with stress and burnout (mostly from work, but also art).  I don’t want to spend too much time talking about my personal life, but I want you guys to know I haven’t just disappeared.  I want to make sure I’m taking care of myself first, I also really want to start Fritz back up!  It’s a comfort to me.

The comic turned ten years old in November, it came and went without even a peep from me.  I really wanted this to be The Year of Fritz, but 2020 made fools of us all. While I didn’t finish volume 2, or make merch, or anything else really, I did get to spend a lot of time getting to know myself, and what direction I want my life to go in.

I want to thank everyone for reading Fritz, and supporting the work I put into it.  It really is a passion project, and to know there are people out there who look forward to what I do, and want to help me do it is so amazing, and humbling. <3

Recently (a couple months ago) I went through the Fritz Fargo Patreon page, and retagged all the posts to make the old rewards easier to find.  I also removed the old payment limits, so everyone who pledges any amount can enjoy them!

I have a lot of plans and ideas for Fritz right now, and I’m very excited to get back to it!

Thank you so muchI  Stay tuned and stay safe!
